Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about how in-home Physical Therapy works, what to expect, or how to get started? You're in the right place.

What services does The Mobility Project offer?

The Mobility Project offers three areas of care: Women's Health Physical Therapy for pelvic floor, bladder, and mobility concerns across the lifespan; Pre/Postpartum Physical Therapy for birth prep and recovery; and Early Childhood PT for infants and toddlers navigating feeding, milestones, and development. All care is delivered in your home.

How does in-home Physical Therapy work?

We come directly to your home at a scheduled time, bringing all equipment needed for your session. There's no drive, no waiting room, and no rushing. You get a full one-on-one session in the space where you actually live, which matters especially when you're pregnant, postpartum, or caring for a baby.

Does The Mobility Project accept insurance?

The Mobility Project is a cash-based practice, no insurance billing. Direct pay per visit, with HSA and FSA cards accepted. Superbills are provided weekly so you can submit to your insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. A prenatal package is also available.

Is this only for postpartum women?

Not at all. The Mobility Project serves women across the full lifespan (from fertility and pregnancy through perimenopause and menopause) as well as infants and children. Whether you're a new mom, a female athlete, or navigating pelvic health changes later in life, we have a care plan for you.

How do I get started?

Head to the Contact page and schedule your evaluation using the online booking calendar. Dr. Kelsey will come to you for an initial assessment, go over what she finds, and put together a personalized care plan. From there, you set up ongoing in-home sessions at a pace that works for you.
